It’s been a year without a journal update, perhaps it’s time. I’ve got a new job now, which has me designing, creating, and illustrating; which is great, but it could mean less energy gets funneled in here. Though looking at the six month gap in submissions, I don’t think it could get much worse.
    On the flip side, I bought myself a new tablet. The old one was the cheapest one available, I had it for years, and I wore that thing down to the point where the pen fell apart. It had already paid for itself several times over, so it’s earned its retirement. I upgraded to a 6x8 wireless model with battery-free (and hopefully more durable) pen. It came with a version of Painter which I have yet to install. Though it doesn’t look likely in terms of time, I hope to see what new things I can coax out of it.
    Thanks to everyone for hanging around through half a year of near silence. I’ve still been reading your comments and notes and watching your favourites. I hope everyone’s doing well, take care,
